Another exciting weekend of cricket awaits as we head towards the end of July! 🏏☀️

The 1st XI return to the Rec Arena full of confidence after a convincing victory last weekend, as they welcome Newdigate in another important Surrey Championship clash. 💪

The 2nd XI are on the road to Sutton, looking to get back to winning ways and build some momentum heading into the final weeks of the league season. 👊

The 3rd XI are also at home, hosting Woodmansterne after an excellent win away at Sutton last week. They'll be hoping to make it back-to-back victories in front of the home crowd. 💙

There is no fixture for the Sunday 1st XI this weekend, but the Sunday 2nd XI are in action as they welcome Ottershaw to the Rec. Get down and support the lads if you're around! ☀️🏏

The 1st XI are on the road as they take on Old Whitgiftians, looking to come away with another important league victory. 💪

The 2nd XI return to the Rec Arena to host Ockham, hoping to make home advantage count and put on a strong performance in front of the Capel faithful. 👊

The 3rd XI travel to Sutton this weekend and are still looking for one more player. If you fancy a game of senior cricket tomorrow, or know someone who does, please get in touch with anyone at the club! 💙🏏

On Sunday, the Sunday 1st XI head to Ewhurst looking to keep their good form going.

Unfortunately, due to player availability, there isn't enough to field a Sunday 2nd XI this week.

Another big weekend awaits with four senior sides in action as we head into the business end of the campaign.

The 1st XI are on the road as they travel to Wandgas, looking to pick up another valuable result away from home 💪

The 2nd XI also hit the road, taking on Horsley & Send as they look to build some momentum for the second half of the season 👊

The 3rd XI make their first appearance at the Rec Arena this season, welcoming Oxted & Limpsfield. Get down and support the lads as they look to make home advantage count! 💙

On Sunday, the Sunday 1st XI are due to host our favourite opponents, Stunners... although rumours are circulating that they may be struggling for numbers.

A big weekend of cricket is upon us, with three senior sides in action on Saturday before the return of one of the highlights of the Capel calendar on Sunday! 🏏🔥

The 1st XI welcome Merstham to the Rec, looking to continue their strong run of form and pick up another important victory on home soil. 💪

The 2nd XI travel to Cranleigh, determined to keep building momentum and bring home the points. 👊

The 3rd XI head to Horsley & Send, looking to put in another strong performance and continue climbing the table. 🏏

And the action doesn’t stop there…

🌟 Sunday sees the return of our Junior Six-a-Side Tournament! 🌟

We’re looking forward to welcoming young cricketers from across the area for a fantastic day of junior cricket. With plenty of talent on show, exciting matches throughout the day and a great atmosphere around the club, it’s always one of the best days of the summer calendar. 🏏☀️

The action gets underway tonight as the Capel Women’s XI host Leatherhead under the Friday night lights. Get down to the club and show your support for the ladies! 💙

On Saturday, the 1st XI travel to Ashtead (North Holmwood) looking to continue their excellent start to the season and keep the wins coming 💪

The 2nd XI return to the Rec Arena as they host Oakwood Hill, determined to get back on track in front of the home crowd 👊

The 3rd XI host Tadworth at Forest Green, looking to build some momentum and climb the table 🏏

Sunday sees both Sunday sides in action. The Sunday 1st XI travel to Stunners (Peper Harrow) hoping to continue their recent good form, while the Sunday 2nd XI welcome Westfield Saints to Capel for another big test at the Rec ☀️

Bank Holiday Sunday did not disappoint 🍻🛍️

For the past few years, members and friends of Capel Cricket Club have spent the May & August Bank Holiday Sundays exploring local car boot sales in search of outfits costing less than £5. These outfits are then proudly worn to the Surrey Oaks Beer Festival to enjoy the brilliant selection of beer and live music on offer 🎶

What started as a bit of fun has now become an annual tradition, one that we hope provides plenty of entertainment for fellow festival-goers along the way 😅

This year, we’re once again raising money for St Catherine’s Hospice by matching, or hopefully beating,whatever we spend at the car boot sales through donations ❤️

We go again this August Bank Holiday… bigger outfits, bigger laughs, and hopefully even more money raised for an incredible cause 🙌
