The last week of the season 😥 that has flown by

The last week of the season 😥 that has flown by! What a season it's been for every person within the club! Another great year apart from the weather!

The 1st's won Division 1 last Saturday and are looking to finish with a bang at home! The bar will be open from 4pm on Saturday.

The 2nd's are looking to finish what has been a thriller of a first season in Division 3 with a result against a strong Sutton side.

No Sunday game 😞

Three big games this weekend!

If the 1st XI secures victory with a few bonus points then the title will be coming home. All support is welcome over at Salford's.

The 2s take on top of the table Cranleigh. There looking to bounce back after disappointment over at Forest Green!

The Sunday team are battling relegation but a Victory would make us safe. Car boot sale before and off the the beer festival after!

T20 finals day 🔥 This Sunday is very exciting

T20 finals day 🔥

This Sunday is very exciting - not only could England be in a world cup final but Capel are heading to T20 finals day!

Valley End Cricket club will be hosting us for what is the 6th Surrey finals day. But more importantly the 1st for us!

The coach has been booked and I have roughly 10 spaces left. It will be departing from CCC at 9am and returning around 7:30pm. Please drop a comment to confirm or book a place! £10 a person

Here is the schedule ahead:

10:45 Capel vs. Cheam 1st inn

13:15 Capel vs. Cheam 2nd inn

16:15 Final

Valley End will have full food and drink available to purchase throughout the day.

@j4mesknight & @henryede_ will be running out the drinks and potentially playing if conditions suit!

I'd also like to mention life long president Charles Edwards donation towards the bus!

We then move on to what is set to be a thriller on Friday night at Capel! Quarter final 18:00 against Cranleigh...

If all goes well Millennium coaches will be getting a phone call!

We then move on to the Weekend games.

The 1st XI take on a strong Headley side who are still upset over there departure from the Surrey Slam !

The 2nd XI take on Tadworth who are also hosting the Women's Open. Please leave plenty of time to find parking!

Two quarter finals this week, the first being against last years Plate winners Outwood CC. We play them tomorrow. 6pm start. RH1 5PW All support most welcome!!

On Friday we face Cranleigh. Teams and venue will be posted later in the week.

We hope the rain stays away from what is scheduled to be a cracking weekend of cricket.

We never know when we're beaten. What a night we had on Friday, recovering from 88/7 to post 142 against a strong South Nutfield and then defending it in fine fashion. SN were looking strong at 70/0 but a fine bowling and fielding display got us over the line to complete a convincing win. We hope Jack Bellars really enjoyed Barbie!

Teams for this week 🫡

Tomorrow sees six players head over to Nutfield to have a go at winning back the trophy at their annual tournament. There also celebrating the presidents 59th birthday.

Why work from home when you could work from the sidelines?

On Wednesday the T20 side are back in action. They face a strong South Nutfield side! A few changes to the eleven as we adjust to comply with the eligibility rules of the competition!
