A huge weekend of cricket lies ahead with six senior sides in action across Friday, Saturday and Sunday! 🏏🔥

The action gets underway tonight as the Capel Women’s XI host Leatherhead under the Friday night lights. Get down to the club and show your support for the ladies! 💙

On Saturday, the 1st XI travel to Ashtead (North Holmwood) looking to continue their excellent start to the season and keep the wins coming 💪

The 2nd XI return to the Rec Arena as they host Oakwood Hill, determined to get back on track in front of the home crowd 👊

The 3rd XI host Tadworth at Forest Green, looking to build some momentum and climb the table 🏏

Sunday sees both Sunday sides in action. The Sunday 1st XI travel to Stunners (Peper Harrow) hoping to continue their recent good form, while the Sunday 2nd XI welcome Westfield Saints to Capel for another big test at the Rec ☀️

With cricket across three days, there's plenty of opportunities to get down and support the club this weekend!

The 1st XI are back at home this weekend as they host Worcester, looking to continue their strong start to the season 💪

The 2nd XI travel to Holmbury St Mary hoping to get back to winning ways on the road 👊

The 3rd XI are also away from home as they head over to Merstham looking for another big performance from the lads 💙

Sunday sees the Sunday 1st XI host Leigh at the Rec — hopefully with some sunshine this time around ☀️🍻

Unfortunately, the Sunday 2nd XI fixture has been conceded this week 😔

Bank Holiday Sunday did not disappoint 🍻🛍️

For the past few years, members and friends of Capel Cricket Club have spent the May & August Bank Holiday Sundays exploring local car boot sales in search of outfits costing less than £5. These outfits are then proudly worn to the Surrey Oaks Beer Festival to enjoy the brilliant selection of beer and live music on offer 🎶

What started as a bit of fun has now become an annual tradition, one that we hope provides plenty of entertainment for fellow festival-goers along the way 😅

This year, we’re once again raising money for St Catherine’s Hospice by matching, or hopefully beating,whatever we spend at the car boot sales through donations ❤️

We go again this August Bank Holiday… bigger outfits, bigger laughs, and hopefully even more money raised for an incredible cause 🙌

It’s a busy Bank Holiday weekend with plenty of cricket across the club 🏏🔥

The 1st XI hit the road again as they travel to Wallington looking to keep their unbeaten start to the season going 💪

The 2nd XI welcome friends Ockley to the Rec Arena as they look to bounce back in front of the home crowd 👊

The 3rd XI head over to Forest Green to take on Salfords, looking to build on last week and keep things moving in the right direction 🏏

Sunday sees the Sunday 2nd XI make their debut as they host Loxwood at home 🙌
An early start though… all to cater for the TWIC x Soaks Car Boot Challenge!

Another busy weekend ahead for the club after a winning start to the Surrey Cricket Championship season 🔥🏏

The 1st XI head all the way over to Newdigate after cruising to victory in their opening SCC fixture last weekend 💪
⏰ With the travel involved, both clubs have agreed to a 13:00 start...

The 2nd XI will be looking to bounce back this week as they host Sutton at the Rec 👊

The 3rd XI travel to Woodmansterne with a few new faces in the side and plenty to look forward to!
We’re also still on the lookout for one or two more players — if you fancy giving senior cricket a go tomorrow or at any point this season, please get in touch with anyone at the club 💙

On Sunday, the Sunday XI welcome our friends from South Nutfield to Capel 🤝
And if you’d like to watch a wicketkeeping masterclass… probably best heading somewhere else 😅🧤

No fixture this week for the Sunday 2nd XI… which brings us back to the point above — if anyone wants a game of cricket, we’d love to hear from you!

After a long off-season, Cricket returns and we can’t wait to get going 💚

This week it’s just the 2nd XI in action, with the rest of the teams joining the action over the next couple of weeks.

The 2s travel to East Horsley looking to kick things off the right way 💪
